Getting to Barton
Barton Airfield at Manchester is very easily accessed as it is well placed on the UK motorway network..
From Hull
Take the M62 West.
This becomes the M60 for a short length near to Barton.
Come off the M60 (West) at junction 11 and follow signs for Irlam.
Watch for FAI signs soon after coming off the motorway.
Turn into Barton Moss Road on your right after the airfield main entrance.

From the South.
Take the M1 North and where it meets the M6 follow the M6.
Come off at Warrington (junction 21) and follow the A57.
Watch for FAI signs after about 10 minutes drive.
Turn into Barton Moss Road on your left.
